The Handbells and Chimes used by the Emmanubells are Gifts
The first three octaves of Malmark handbells were purchased in 1979 in memory of Beth Collins. In recent years, the Emmanubells have acquired a fourth octave of bells plus two bass bells of the fifth octave, all of the top of the fifth octave and three octaves of Malmark choir chimes. Most have been memorial gifts and we try to remember the spirit with which they were given as we use them to the glory of God.
The bells are individually named and numbered according to what note they ring with smaller bells having the larger numbers. The handbells used by the Emmanubells carry inscriptions in the handles or on the cases as follows:
