This history of Emmanuel United Church (1955 -1999) was written for the 40th Anniversary. The Anniversary Committee decided to use the core material of the original history, written for the 15th Anniversary, in 1974, and to build on it.
It seems fitting to add to the existing History of Emmanuel United Church, published in 1999, as we have just celebrated our 50th Anniversary. Thus you will find below additional material covering the remaining William Smith, Jack Nield and Peter Lougheed years.
